Sven Boltenstern

Professor Sven Boltenstern is an internationally reknown jewellery designer and goldsmith whose work has throughout the years had great impact through its unique form and quality. 50 years ago he established his own workshop based in Vienna. Numerous national and international exhibitions and events made him to be one of Europe’s leading jewellery and object artists.

Every single jewellery piece is designed by the artist and handcrafted in his traditional workshop in Vienna with help of a fabulous team of goldsmiths. Only finest stones and 18ct gold is used for the pieces. The artist finds his inspiration for the pieces in the human body as well as in nature.

Not ony his art pieces but especially his personal appearance have formed his career. Formerly he had stores in the famous Kohlmarkt in Vienna and in Rue St.Honoré in Paris. Regular exhibitions in Salzburg during the famous Salzburg Festival as well as renommated exhibitions in Zurich, St. Moritz, Arosa, Zuers, in the US and the United Arab Emirates made Jewellery by Sven Boltenstern well known all around the world.

Sven won numerous awards including the ‘Diamond International Award’. He was honoured with the ‘Österreichisches Ehrenkreuz für Wissenschaft und Kunst’, got the ‘Professor-Title’ and 2013 he was awarded the ‘Goldenes Verdienstzeichen des Landes Wien’.
